| Obverse description | Left-facing truncated bust of Prince Pierre of Monaco occupies the central field, rendered in bold relief with fine engraved detail to the hair and collar. The curved legend FONDATION PRINCE PIERRE arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin capitals. The birth and death years 1895 and 1964 appear in two lines to the right of the effigy. A laurel branch is visible at the lower left, and the engraver's monogram ER is incused at the lower right of the bust truncation. |
