| Obverse description | The coloured coat of arms of the Republic of Benin is depicted centrally, featuring two lions rampant as supporters flanking a quartered shield, with two black buffalo horns surmounting the crest and a scroll below bearing the national motto. The circular legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU BENIN' arcs along the upper periphery in green Latin characters. The date '2018' is divided on either side of the arms in the field, with '20' to the left and '18' to the right. The denomination '10' appears prominently below the arms, with 'FRANCS CFA' inscribed along the lower border.
