| Obverse description | Central field displays the national coat of arms of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, depicting a leopard's head facing forward, flanked by two crossed elephant tusks, set upon a shield-shaped escutcheon with a decorative base. The motto inscriptions JUSTICE and TRAVAIL appear on either side of the shield, with PAIX inscribed below on the base. The legend RÉPUBLIQUE DÉMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO arcs along the upper periphery, while the date 2009 appears divided at the lower flanks and the denomination 10 FRANCS is inscribed along the lower rim. |
