| Obverse description | Brown intaglio-printed note with an elaborate guilloche border framing the entire face. To the left, an oval vignette presents a bust portrait of a young woman in traditional Swiss dress and hat, rendered in fine engraving. The centre and right portion carry the trilingual bank name, the denomination in German, French, and Italian, the issuing date and place, serial number in two positions, and three signature lines for the Hauptkassier, President des Bankrates, and a member of the Direktorium, with cancellation punch holes visible. |
