Obverse description Left-facing draped bust of Helvetia depicted as a young woman from the Oberhasli region, with elaborately braided hair adorned with a garland of edelweiss flowers. A mountain range is visible in the background field behind the effigy. The legend HELVETIA appears along the upper rim, with the engraver's signature F. LANDRY incuse at the lower periphery. The portrait is rendered in a finely detailed neoclassical style characteristic of late 19th- and early 20th-century Swiss coinage.
