| 裏面の説明 | The reverse depicts a coiled Aruban rattlesnake (Crotalus unicolor), rendered in fine detail at the center of the field, its scales and body texture carefully articulated in relief. Surrounding the central motif, stylized snake figures are distributed around the periphery in a decorative arrangement. The denomination '10 florin' appears in the upper portion of the field, with 'ARUBA' and the date '2003' inscribed in the lower field. The mint mark of the Royal Dutch Mint appears below the date, completing the design. |

Aruba's "rattlesnake" florins take their nickname from the cascabel rattlesnake (Crotalus durissus unicolor), a subspecies found almost exclusively on the island and listed as critically endangered. The Centrale Bank issued this series partly as a conservation awareness instrument — an unusual mandate for a monetary authority, though not unprecedented in the Dutch Caribbean tradition of using legal tender silver to spotlight regional biodiversity.
KM#28 sits in a short run of Aruban commemorative silvers that followed autonomy from the Netherlands Antilles in 1986.
