| Reverse description | The reverse is divided diagonally into two contrasting fields: the left half carries a frosted, darker background populated by seven small birds in flight, while the right half displays a highly detailed frosted effigy of a perched Aruban burrowing owl (Athene cunicularia arubensis) facing the viewer frontally. The denomination 10 florin appears in bold lettering in the upper field, and the inscriptions ARUBA and 2003 are placed in the lower right quadrant. Two mint marks — the Utrecht mint mark (a stylised tower) and the mintmaster's privy mark — appear in the exergue below the owl. |
