Beschrijving keerzijde A boom, a traditional Arabian dhow-type sailing vessel, is depicted sailing to the left with sails unfurled and a small flag flying from the stern on the right side. The ship's rigging and hull details are rendered in fine relief, evoking Kuwait's historic maritime heritage. Below the vessel, the dual calendar dating appears in Arabic script, presenting both the Islamic Hijri year and the Common Era Gregorian year separated by a dash.

Aanvullende informatie

Kuwait's fils denominations were struck in gold-plated silver as part of a proof and collector series issued through the Central Bank during the late 2000s, a period when Gulf states were broadly expanding their numismatic programs in response to sustained high oil revenues. The KM#11c designation places this piece as a compositional variant within a long-running type family — the underlying 10 fils design had been in continuous production since Kuwait's post-independence coinage reform of 1961.
