| Obverse description | A dove of peace in flight occupies the centre of the field, depicted with wings spread and tail feathers fanned, carrying an olive branch in its beak as a symbol of peace. The circular legend 'MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG' (Republic of Hungary) runs around the periphery. The date of issue is inscribed in the lower portion of the field, beneath the dove. The design is rendered in a clean, modern graphic style characteristic of Hungarian coinage of the period. |
