Obverse description Crowned Polish eagle displayed with wings spread, facing left, rendered in relief at center of the field. A royal crown appears above the eagle's head, and a border of small five-pointed stars encircles the entire design. The mint mark 'F F' appears in the lower field flanking the eagle's tail feathers. The design reflects the nascent Polish national symbolism adopted during the German-administered Kingdom of Poland period.
