| Obverse description | Central field dominated by four large Chinese characters reading 宣統元寶 (Xuantong Yuan Bao) arranged vertically and horizontally, with Manchu script occupying the innermost central area. The peripheral legend 江南省造 (Made in Kiangnan Province) appears along the upper rim, flanked by decorative floral rosette ornaments at either side. The weight denomination 庫平七錢二分 (Kuping 7 Mace 2 Candareens) is inscribed along the lower arc. All legends are separated from the outer toothed border by a fine inner beaded circle, lending the design a structured, formal appearance characteristic of late Qing provincial coinage. |
