| 表面の説明 | Central field features an stylised olive branch rendered in flowing, curvilinear relief, flanking the Olympic rings emblem at centre. Above the rings, the Greek inscription ΑΘΗΝΑ 2004 appears in the field. The denomination 10 ΕΥΡΩ is inscribed along the lower arc in bold Greek lettering. A ring of twelve five-pointed stars encircles the inner design, referencing the European Union, set against a polished proof field. |

One of dozens of collector issues struck by Greece to mark the return of the Olympic Games to Athens in 2004 — the first time the Games had been held in Greece since their modern revival in 1896. The Athens organizing committee was awarded the 2004 Games in 1997 after a controversial 1996 decision had bypassed Greece entirely in favor of Atlanta, despite widespread expectation that the centennial Games would return to their birthplace.
KM#200 is one of several denomination-and-sport pairings in the series, each issued in limited quantities for the collector market.
