In the left foreground, a lone climber ascends a near-vertical rock face, conveying the perilous nature of the ascent. In the upper left quadrant, the legend NANGA PARBAT is inscribed in two lines, surmounted by the elevation 8125 m. Below the mountain's name, the year 1971 commemorates the first Slovak summit of the peak. At the lower right edge, the stylised designer's mark MP for Mária Poldaufová appears alongside the Kremnica Mint mark consisting of the letters MK flanked by two die symbols. |
