Reverse description A bearded half-length figure of Master Pavol of Levoča, the celebrated late Gothic woodcarver and sculptor active in the late 15th and early 16th centuries, depicted in draped robes and holding a woodcarving tool in his hands. To the right of the figure, an elaborate Gothic foliate ornament in the form of an interlaced medallion adorned with birds frames the denomination 10 EURO. The inscription naming the subject runs vertically along the left side of the field in Gothic-style lettering.
