| Obverse description | The obverse displays the full heraldic coat of arms of the Central Bank of Malta in high relief, centrally positioned within the field. The arms feature a quartered shield supported by two armoured knights standing as dexter and sinister supporters, each bearing a sword. Above the shield rises a crested helm surmounted by a mural crown, with elaborate mantling flanking the crest. A scroll beneath the supporters bears the Latin motto FIDUCIA FORTIS, flanked by the founding year 1968. The arc legend CENTRAL BANK OF MALTA runs along the upper periphery, and the issue year 2024 appears in the lower field below the escutcheon. The entire design is framed by a beaded inner border. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a vibrant, full-colour applied design celebrating the Maltese Carnival. At the centre, a stylised carnival reveller is depicted wearing an elaborate feathered Venetian-style mask and a wide-brimmed hat, rendered in uncoloured relief against the coloured background. The surrounding field is filled with an intricate mandala-inspired decorative pattern in vivid rainbow colours transitioning from red and orange at the periphery through yellow and green to blue at the centre, applied by colour printing technique. The denomination legend 10 EURO and the Maltese inscription KARNIVAL TA' MALTA arc along the lower portion of the field in bold raised lettering partially overlapping the coloured design. |
