| 表面の説明 | The obverse features a central hexagonal frame containing the denomination numeral '10' in large relief to the right, flanked by two sprigs — an olive branch above and an oak branch below — rendered in fine detail against the field. The inscription 'RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE' arcs around the upper and lower portions of the design within the hexagonal motif, with 'EURO' inscribed horizontally across the center. The date '2016' appears vertically along the right inner edge of the hexagon. An outer geometric lattice border of intersecting diagonal lines frames the entire composition, referencing the traditional hexagonal shape associated with France. |

Part of Monnaie de Paris's long-running *Le Petit Prince* commemorative series, this issue draws on the 1943 Antoine de Saint-Exupéry novella — written in New York while the author was in exile and published just months before he disappeared over the Mediterranean on a reconnaissance mission in July 1944. The "cinema" theme references the various screen adaptations of the work, most immediately the 2015 animated film co-produced with French backing. At .333 fine, this is billon in the strictest technical sense — closer to a base metal piece than a silver one.
