Obverse description The denomination '10' appears prominently in the right portion of the field, flanked by the legend 'RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE' arcing around the upper and lower periphery within an octagonal frame. A sprig of olive leaves is depicted above the denomination and a sprig of oak leaves below, both rendered in relief. Diagonal geometric lines radiate outward from the central hexagonal design to the coin's edge, creating a lattice pattern. The date '2016' is inscribed vertically along the right inner border of the design.

Additional information

Part of Monnaie de Paris's long-running Petit Prince series, which has issued commemorative pieces annually since 2015 under licensing from the Saint-Exupéry estate. The .333 fineness — barely silver by most collectors' standards — reflects a deliberate mass-market positioning: these are sold through gift channels as much as numismatic ones, and mintages have consistently run high enough to suppress any secondary market premium.
