| Obverse description | The obverse features, at center, a rectangular inset panel bearing a stylized representation of an open book whose pages are inscribed with the titles of works by Ladislav Nádaši-Jégé, including VÝHODY SPOLOČENSKÉHO ŽIVOTA, WIENIAWSKÉHO LEGENDA, ADAM ŠANGALA, KURUCI, MAGISTER RYTIER, DONČ, HORYMÍR, SVÄTOPLUK, ITÁLIA, and CESTA ŽIVOTOM. Emerging from the lower portion of the book panel is a low-relief figural scene depicting characters from the author's literary works.
