| Reverse description | A left-facing draped bust of Karl von Normann-Ehrenfels (1784–1822), the German philhellene and officer who served in the Greek War of Independence, dominates the field. He is depicted wearing a traditional Greek fustanella costume and a cap, rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The date 2023 appears to the left of the bust, and the mint mark is positioned to the right. The upper legend in Latin reads KARL VON NORMANN – EHRENFELS, while the lower legend in Greek script reads ΚΑΡΟΛΟΣ ΝΟΡΜΑΝ, accompanied by his birth and death years 1784–1822. |
