Reverse description A finely detailed portrait bust of Johann Jakob Meyer (1798–1826), the Swiss philhellene who fought in the Greek War of Independence, facing three-quarters to the right, wearing a cravat and period coat. The subject's name 'JOHANN JAKOB MEYER' is inscribed in bold lettering along the upper border within a decorative meander (Greek key) and triangular-tooth inner border. The year '2026' appears to the right of the portrait, accompanied by a small mint mark. Along the lower border, the Greek-language legend 'ΙΩΑΝΝΗΣ ΙΑΚΩΒΟΣ ΜΑΓΕΡ 1798 – 1826' gives the subject's name and life dates in Greek script. A small engraver's initial 'IB' is visible at the lower right of the bust.
