| Reverse description | The reverse presents a three-quarter facing portrait bust of Janko Matúška, the Slovak poet and author of the national anthem 'Hej, Slováci', depicted with a beard and period attire including a bow tie, set within a rectangular frame on the right side of the field. To the left of the portrait, Matúška's facsimile signature is rendered in cursive script, adding an intimate biographical element to the design.
