Opis rewersu	A finely modelled bearded bust of Herodotus, the ancient Greek historian, occupies the central field, facing slightly to the left in three-quarter view, with naturalistic rendering of his hair and full beard in high relief. To the left of the effigy, the Greek legend 'ΗΡΟΔΟΤΟΣ' descends vertically, accompanied by the dates '484-425 π.χ.' indicating his approximate life span. The mint year '2018' and a small mint mark appear to the right of the bust. The design is enclosed within a classical meander (Greek key) border, reinforcing the Hellenic cultural theme of the issue.
