The entire field is covered with an elaborate granulation pattern replicating the texture of precious gemstone settings, with numerous faceted, circular cabochon-like intaglio impressions of varying sizes arranged across stylized foliate branches. The monogram 'RF' (République Française) appears in an ornate Art Nouveau-influenced script at the center of the composition, surrounded by the jewel-like decorative elements. |
