To the left, a stylized grand piano is depicted in angular, geometric lines, serving as a symbolic backdrop to Liszt's celebrated pianistic legacy. Liszt's facsimile signature is engraved across the lower center of the field, adding an intimate authenticating detail. The commemorative legend 200. GEBURTSTAG FRANZ LISZT curves along the upper rim, and the birth and death years 1811 - 1886 appear in the exergue at the bottom.
