| Obverse description | The classic La Semeuse (The Sower) allegory, after Oscar Roty's celebrated design, depicted in high relief striding to the left against a mirror-polished dark field within a central cartouche. The robed female figure scatters seeds with her right hand while carrying a satchel over her left shoulder, her hair and drapery windswept. The date is split to either side of the central motif — '20' to the left and '15' to the right — flanked by stylised horizontal striping evoking the French tricolour. Twelve five-pointed stars arc around the outer border, referencing the European Union, while the monogram 'RF' (République Française) appears on a tablet to the right of the figure. |
