Aanvullende informatie

Felipe VI was born on January 30, 1968, and ascended to the Spanish throne in June 2014 following the abdication of his father Juan Carlos I — the first Spanish abdication in nearly two centuries. This commemorative was issued the same year Spain's constitutional monarchy was navigating significant institutional pressure, including the ongoing Catalan independence crisis that had produced an illegal referendum the previous October.

The .925 finesse places it in the sterling standard Spain has used consistently for its collector silver series since the 1990s.
