Дополнительная информация	Issued to honor Euclid of Alexandria, whose Elements — compiled around 300 BC — remained the foundational geometry textbook in European and Islamic scholarship for over two millennia. Greece has produced a number of mathematician-themed collector issues, but Euclid is a peculiar choice insofar as almost nothing is known about him as a person: no birth date, no verified portrait, no confirmed biographical detail beyond his association with Alexandria under Ptolemy I. The .925 fineness places this among Greece's standard collector silver output of the period.
