| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by the large inscription 'ESCUDO' across the center of the field, with the Portuguese coat of arms integrated into the letter 'U' as a decorative element. Above, the legend 'MOEDAS HISTÓRICAS' arches across the upper portion of the coin.
