| 正面描述 | The obverse features a modern geometric design composed of intersecting diagonal lines forming a diamond-shaped central field, within which the denomination '10' appears prominently at right in large numerals alongside the inscription 'EURO'. Sprays of laurel and oak leaves are depicted centrally within the geometric framework, evoking traditional French Republican symbolism. The legend 'RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE' is distributed around the design, with 'RÉPUBLIQUE' arching above and 'FRANÇAISE' below. The date '2019' appears vertically along the right inner border. The overall composition is rendered in a crisp, contemporary relief style characteristic of Monnaie de Paris collector issues. |

This issue belongs to Monnaie de Paris's long-running "Coin of History" series, which pairs French cultural touchstones with circulating-quality billon — a deliberate choice that keeps face-value accessibility while acknowledging these pieces will largely be saved rather than spent. Delacroix painted the source work in 1830 to commemorate the July Revolution, not the French Revolution of 1789 as it is persistently misidentified; the barricades depicted are those of the three days that toppled Charles X.
The painting entered the Louvre's permanent collection in 1874 after decades of suppression by successive governments uneasy with its imagery.
