| Reverse description | The reverse portrays a three-quarter bust of Christoffel Plantijn (Christophe Plantin), the celebrated sixteenth-century Flemish printer and publisher, depicted in period costume with a prominent ruff collar and flowing robes. He is shown seated at a compositor's workbench, his hands engaged with typesetting tools, with a printing press frame visible to his left, evoking his revolutionary contribution to early modern typography. In the upper left field, an ornate calligraphic cartouche bears the name 'Christoffel Plantijn' together with the commemorative dates '1520 2020' marking the quincentenary of his birth.
