| Reverse description | The reverse features a bold high-relief depiction of Rodin's iconic bronze sculpture 'Le Penseur' (The Thinker), shown as a seated male nude figure in a contemplative pose, chin resting on his fist, occupying the left and upper portion of the field. Behind the figure, rendered in finer engraved detail against a deeply mirrored proof field, is a view of the Musée Rodin in Paris (the Hôtel Biron), providing architectural context to the artistic subject. Along the upper right arc, the inscription 'La Sculpture' is engraved in elegant serif lettering. At the base of the sculpture, a small incuse signature 'Le Penseur' is visible.
