Reverse description A highly detailed architectural elevation of the Auberge de Provence in Valletta, Malta, rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished proof field. The façade is depicted across two storeys, showcasing its Baroque character with pilasters, arched and pedimented windows, ornate balconies, and a central projecting section crowned by a classical pediment. The legend AUBERGE DE PROVENCE arcs along the upper border within a beaded inner circle, while the denomination 10 EURO is inscribed in large characters at the base. A small engraver's mark (NCB) appears at the lower left of the design.
