| Obverse description | The obverse features an architectural rendering of the Primatial Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary Assumed Into Heaven and St. Adalbert in Esztergom, depicted in fine detail occupying the upper portion of the field. Beneath the basilica appears the facsimile signature of Cardinal Alexander Rudnay, flanked to the left by the Slovak coat of arms and to the right by the Kremnica Mint mark — the letters 'MK' placed between two die symbols. The year of issue '2019' is inscribed below the coat of arms, while the stylised initials 'PV', denoting designer Peter Valach, appear beneath the mint mark near the rim. The legend 'ALEXANDER RUDNAY' and 'SLOVENSKO' arc along the upper and lateral portions of the coin's periphery. |
