Aversbeschreibung Representation of the stylized federal eagle and the twelve stars of the European Union in the center of the coin distributed on each side of the eagle. Above the name of the state `BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND`, the Federal Republic of Germany. Below the eagle the words `Silber 625`, silver 625‰, appears to avoid any confusion with the coin minted in cupronickel. Below near the scroll is the Berlin workshop mark on the left by the letter `A`, the year `2011` and the face value `10 EURO`.
