Obverse description The stylized Federal Eagle is depicted in the center of the field, flanked on either side by six of the twelve stars of the European Union, arranged in a semicircular pattern. The legend BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND arcs above the eagle along the upper periphery. Below the eagle, the mint mark A (Berlin Mint), the year of issue 2011, and the face value 10 EURO appear in a horizontal arrangement near the lower rim. Notably, no silver fineness inscription is present on this copper-nickel issue, distinguishing it from the silver version of the same type.
