Obverse description The obverse features the German Federal Eagle (Bundesadler) rendered in relief at center, set within a distinctive blue-colored polymer middle ring that forms a concentric band between the copper-nickel core and outer ring. The outer ring carries the legend BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND along the upper arc and 10 EURO along the lower arc, flanked by five-pointed stars on either side. The date 2024 appears in the exergue below the eagle within the inner core, and the mint mark is positioned above the eagle's head. The design follows the standard obverse type adopted for the German polymer-ring commemorative 10 Euro series.

Reverse description The reverse depicts multiple figures representing various branches of the German police service. At center, within the copper-nickel core, two uniformed police officers stand prominently in the foreground, rendered in detailed relief. Surrounding them in the middle-ring zone, additional officers are shown engaged in different duties: a mounted officer on horseback to the left, officers with police dogs, a tactical unit officer with a robot device, and a motorcycle officer to the right, with stylized urban and rural building silhouettes forming the background panorama. At the top of the outer ring, a police badge emblem is depicted, while the legend POLIZEI is inscribed along the lower arc of the outer ring. The designer's initials appear in the lower left of the inner field.
