Reverse description The reverse displays the large bold numeral '10' dominating the right portion of the field, with the denomination legend 'EURO CENT' inscribed in two lines beneath it. To the left, a relief map of the European Union (second map type, including the ten 2004 accession states) is depicted, set against a horizontally lined background. A vertical line with six stars to its left separates the map from the denomination. The design, created by Luc Luycx of the Royal Belgian Mint, is the standard common reverse adopted across all eurozone member states from 2007 onward.
