| Descrição do anverso |
The obverse features an architectural rendering of Jože Plečnik's unrealized design for the Slovenian Parliament building, presented in a stylised, relief composition occupying the central field. The legend KATEDRALA SVOBODE (Cathedral of Freedom) arcs around the design, referencing the visionary nature of the project. Encircling the entire motif are the twelve stars of the European Union, interspersed with the individual letters of SLOVENIJA, distributed evenly around the rim. The issue year appears within the legend. The design pays homage to Plečnik (1872–1957), one of Slovenia's most celebrated architects. |
