Obverse description At center, a faithful reproduction of the obverse of the original 1772 Mexico City Mint 8 Reales of King Charles III, depicting the laureate and draped bust of the monarch facing right, with his hair tied in a ribbon at the nape. The inner field replicates the circular beaded border and partial legend of the prototype coin, including the date 1772 below the bust. The outer exergual band of the commemorative coin bears the inscriptions ESPAÑA 2025 at the top and 8 REALES 1772 MÉXICO along the lower arc, clearly framing the reproduced design within the modern issue.
