| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays a copper-nickel centre within a nickel brass outer ring. The centre field bears the legends 5 ANOS and MOEDA NACIONAL in two lines, with a rectangular cartouche below inscribed BANCO DE CABINDA / 1945 / 2005 / B C (shield) / 7½ / SETE ESCUDOS CONVERTÍVEIS E CINQUENTA CENTAVOS. Surrounding the centre in the outer ring are twelve miniature reproductions of Cabindan coin designs of various denominations and shapes — including circular, hexagonal, square, and rectangular formats — each depicting marine fauna and their respective denominations and inscriptions, arranged in a clockwise sequence around the full circumference of the ring. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Cabinda is an Angolan exclave separated from the rest of the country by a strip of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and its status has been disputed since Portugal ceded the territory under the 1885 Treaty of Simulambuco. The "Banco de Cabinda" has no recognized legal authority — this piece is a fantasy issue, produced outside any sovereign monetary framework and never circulated as actual currency.
At nearly 47 grams and 50mm across, it was struck purely for the collector market. The X# prefix in the Krause catalog designates it accordingly.
