Beschrijving voorzijde	Central design features the Portuguese coat of arms superimposed upon an armillary sphere, a symbol of Portuguese maritime exploration and colonial sovereignty. The shield displays the traditional five escutcheons arranged in a cross, each bearing five bezants, with the red border adorned with castles. Above the shield, a mural crown with five visible towers is rendered in fine detail. The encircling legend reads 'S. TOMÉ·E·PRINCIPE' along the upper periphery, with the denomination '10$00' positioned at the base, flanked by ornamental rosette stops. The coin exhibits a beaded border running along the entire rim.
