Obverse description Draped bust of Queen Christina partially turned to the left, her hair elaborately curled and falling to the shoulders, wearing richly ornamented dress with lace collar, set within a continuous Latin legend encircling the entire obverse field. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the elaborate Baroque style characteristic of mid-17th-century Swedish medallic art.
