| 背面描述 | Central crowned coat of arms of Transylvania, comprising a composite shield with multiple quarterings including the Transylvanian eagle, the seven fortresses, and the sun and moon motifs, set within an elaborate cartouche of scrolling acanthus and strapwork ornament. Two rampant dragons serve as supporters flanking the shield on either side. The date appears within the surrounding Latin legend, which runs along the beaded outer border of the field. |

Mihály Apafi ruled Transylvania as an Ottoman vassal — effectively installed by the Porte in 1661 after being pulled from a monastery where he had been living as a minor nobleman with no particular political ambitions. The 10-ducat multiple was never a circulation piece; it was struck as a presentation gift, a diplomatic instrument, and a declaration that Transylvania still functioned as a sovereign-minting state despite its subordinate position between Habsburg and Ottoman power.
Issues of this denomination from the 1668–1671 window are among the more traceable by die study, with Huszár's work identifying distinct emission groups. Very few examples survive outside major Central European institutional collections.
