| Reverse description | Central field displays a cross pattee composed of four heraldic shields arranged around a central crowned shield bearing a fleur-de-lis, the date 84 (for 1584) inscribed on the central crown. Four additional heraldic shields, including eagles and lions, are placed at the cardinal points between the arms of the cross. A Hohenzollern eagle displayed surmounts the composition at the top. The entire central device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, itself surrounded by a double outer legend in German in the Gothic devotional tradition, the whole framed by a milled border. |
