| Reverse description | Elaborately quartered and impaled coat of arms of the House of Eggenberg, surmounted by a princely crowned helmet with ornate mantling, occupying the central field. The heraldic achievement incorporates multiple quarters reflecting the various lordships and dignities of the Eggenberg family. The shield is flanked by decorative foliate scrollwork. A Latin circumscription running around the outer border identifies the issuing authority as Dukes of Krummau and Princes of the Holy Roman Empire. The engraving displays the refined baroque heraldic style typical of Bohemian coinage of the mid-seventeenth century. |
