| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large royal crown surmounts a trifoliate arrangement of three principal oval shields — bearing the arms of Denmark (three crowned lions passant on a semée of hearts), Norway (rampant lion with axe), and Schleswig (two lions passant) — all interlaced and encircled by a wreath of fifteen smaller oval shields displaying the heraldic arms of the various dominions of the Danish Crown. The composition fills the entire field in deeply struck high relief, characteristic of the grand Baroque multi-ducat coinage. The encircling Latin legend naming the royal titles runs continuously around the outer border. |
