| Beschrijving keerzijde | Double-headed imperial eagle displayed, surmounted by a large ornate imperial crown, with wings spread and each head facing outward. The eagle bears on its breast a quartered shield of arms of the Habsburg dominions, with the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece suspended below. The date 16Z1 appears in the legend, which reads ARCHID AVS DVX BVR CO TYR ZC, distributed around the periphery within a beaded inner border. The entire composition is executed in bold, deeply struck relief characteristic of early seventeenth-century Viennese goldsmithing. |
