| Obverse description | Laureate and armored bust of Emperor Ferdinand II facing right, wearing an elaborate gorget and mantle with decorative collar, depicted with beard and mustache in the Renaissance imperial portrait style. The emperor's effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the armor and drapery. The date 1632 appears in the lower field beneath the bust.
