The Christ Child sits to her right, rendered in high relief, holding a small cross in his right hand. The composition is executed in a rich Baroque sculptural style with flowing drapery and fine detailing throughout the field. The circumferential legend reads + SANCTA MARIA MONACHII 1960, disposed in two arcs around the central design. |
