| Opis awersu | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa facing left, her elaborately curled and pinned hair rendered in fine relief, with a floral ornament at the shoulder of her garment. The encircling Latin legend reads MARIA THERESIA IMPERATRIX GER, divided by the birth and death dates 1717 and 1780 flanking the portrait at mid-field. The issue year 1957 appears in the lower exergual area beneath the bust. The portrait is executed in a bold, high-relief medallic style characteristic of mid-twentieth century commemorative goldsmithing. |

| Opis rewersu | Central design features an ornate symmetrical arrangement of four stylized flowering branches radiating diagonally from a central cartouche, the cartouche bearing the denomination inscription X DUCAT in two lines. A vertical stem with additional floral sprays bisects the composition at center. Small rosette ornaments punctuate the field to either side of the central motif. The fineness mark 980 appears in the lower field beneath the central stem. The surrounding legend PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI arcs across the upper portion of the field, while AUREUS MAGNUS curves along the lower periphery. |
